A 44-year-old Rochester man is facing harassment charges following an incident at his Sterling Street home on Sunday.

Police tell us they were called to the home because of a dispute. When officers arrived, they learned that someone inside the home may have had access to a hazardous material, causing police to call in the bomb squad. It was later determined the unknown substances were not hazardous and there were no other materials authorities found concerning.

The man who lives at the home, Lee Thibodeaux, was taken into custody for the original dispute call.

Streets surrounding the home were shut down for hours while police investigated.
