Perinton man charged with burglary, grand larceny

A 38-year-old Perinton man is facing burglary and grand larceny charges.

Sheriff’s deputies say Kirtis Rothfuss entered a home on Lancashire Drive in Perinton on Friday. According to investigators, Rothfuss left the home when he was confronted by the homeowner. He was taken into custody a short time later.

Rothfuss is being held in the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

Deputies say additional burglaries were reported in the Perinton area on July 11 and additional charges are pending.
