The sentencing has been postponed for the man found guilty of murdering a College at Brockport student.

Alex Kogut was brutally beaten to death in her dorm room back in 2012. She was 18-years-old.

Two months ago, her boyfriend, Clayton Whittemore, was found guilty of second-degree murder. He was scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday, but News10NBC has learned that sentencing has been pushed back to August 5.
