Home prices rose in second quarter

The value of your home may be on the rise. The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors reports that home prices rose in the second quarter.

Home prices rose 1.1 percent, compared to sales last April through June.

The average home price jumped to $130,000. The number of homes sold dropped by more than 7.5 percent.
