There is an important anniversary coming up – 50 years since the riots broke out in the City of Rochester. A lot of people are taking a look at what happened half a century ago.

News10NBC will take an in-depth look and the Unite Rochester campaign is addressing the issues too. We're proud to partner with the Democrat and Chronicle in this on-going effort to get people to talk about race.

Veteran reporter Jim Goodman sat down with Janet Lomax to discuss the story he worked on with Brian Sharp that will appear in Sunday’s paper.
