Livingston County man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

A 46-year-old Livingston County man was seriously injured in motorcycle crash Friday morning.

Deputies say Michael Dann of West Sparta was operating a motorcycle on Route 63 around 6:55 a.m. when he struck a deer that ran into the road.

Dann was thrown from the motorcycle and was unresponsive at the time that a passerby found him. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is currently in guarded condition.

We’re told Dann was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
