A man, who says that Rochester Police officers assaulted him during an arrest, filed a two million dollar lawsuit against the department and the city.

Corry Nix says that in July of last year, officers arrested him at the intersection of Post Avenue and Anthony Street. According to the lawsuit filed this week, all charges were later dropped. Court paperwork indicates that the lawsuit claims Nix suffered physical and emotional damage.

A city of Rochester spokesperson says the city does not comment on pending litigation.
