Route 31 paving work in Perinton to begin on Wednesday

The New York State Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing Route 31 (Pittsford-Palmyra Road) from Interstate 490 to Route 250 in the town of Perinton on Wednesday.

Traffic will be reduced to a single alternating travel pattern. Work in the eastbound direction will be restricted to the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work in the westbound direction will be restricted to 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

The project is expected to take about three weeks to complete.
