Rochester’s annual Pride weekend continued on Saturday to celebrate the LGBT community.

The festivities kicked off on Friday, and there was lots of color and excitement to go around.

One Colorado couple that attended the event says Pride activities are important for the LGBT community.

“It’s important to our family because we have two nine-year-old twin girls, and we want to be just like everyone else. This is a nice example to show that it’s okay,” said Suzy Reublin.

Pride weekend ends on Sunday.
