A local pastor celebrated 30 years of service to the Rochester community on Sunday.

New Life Ministries recognized the pastoral anniversary of their founder and senior pastor, Bishop Reginald McGill.

The ministry was founded in 1984, and Sunday’s ceremony reflected on all those years the church has served families and neighborhoods in our city, especially those living in the 19th ward.

“It’s very exciting. God gave us a vision 30 years ago for reconciliation among races and to bring families together. To see the culmination of that is really something that we’ve desired to happen, so we really feel great. We have a lot more to do. We really are very community oriented, so we want to do more in our communities,” said Bishop Reginald McGill.
