Teen rescued from swimming pool dies

News10NBC has learned that a teen pulled from the bottom of his family’s swimming pool two weeks ago has died.

Thirteen-year-old Jonah Walpole died over the weekend. The teen, who is autistic, was pulled from out of a pool at his Hillcrest Drive home on July 7. He had been hospitalized since then at Strong Hospital.

Sheriff’s deputies ruled his death an accident and no charges will be filed.
