When you use your credit card for payments at a physical store, it's usually as easy as swipe, sign and pay. Now one major credit card company is looking to streamline the process when it comes to making online payments.
Visa is launching a new service called Visa Checkout. It's a service aimed at cutting out a few steps in the drill for paying on the Internet. Users can sign up with Visa cards and enter their payment information just once. Then, when they use participating sites, they need only to enter their username and password.
Among the early adopters in the Visa payment process are Neiman Marcus, Staples and Pizza Hut.
