The Penfield Board of Education is expected to name Dr. Leslie Maloney as Acting Principal of Penfield High School at its next meeting on August 12.

We’re told Maloney will replace Dr. Thomas Putnam who was named Acting Superintendent.
Penfield Board of Education President Carole Nasra said, “We are very excited that Dr. Maloney has agreed to take on this role at the high school. Her instructional background and work with teachers will be a great asset to the position.”
Dr. Maloney holds her doctorate of education in teaching and curriculum from the University of Rochester, a master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from Niagara University and a master’s degree in education from Nazareth College, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Niagara University. She most recently served as Director of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
