It was another chance for people living in Charlotte to make their voices heard about the re-development project at the Port of Rochester.

The $70 million proposal includes high rises, but people who live and work in Charlotte say it could ruin the look and feel of the community. A local group called “Charlotte Strong” is calling on Mayor Lovely Warren to slow down the process and come up with a new plan. They attended Tuesday's City Council meeting.

Sue Miller, “Charlotte Strong” member, said, “It's very important for all of us to start this process over, make sure it is fair and it is the right development for our community."
