Police: Bicyclist hit by car on Clifford Avenue

A 41-year-old woman suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle. It happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Clifford Avenue and North Goodman Street in Rochester.

Police tell us the car hit the woman and then took off. We’re told there was a witness to the crash and that officers are checking a few addresses to locate a possible suspect.

Police have not released the victim’s name.
