The man accused of killing his grandmother before setting Rochester house on fire was arraigned in court Wednesday morning.

Donkish Lesane, 22, is charged with second degree murder and arson. In court, he entered a not guilty plea. During the proceedings, he interrupted the judge several times to say he didn't kill his grandmother.

His grandmother, 52-year-old Winnie Butler, was found by firefighters inside the home on Fernwood Park. Investigators say she was dead before the fire started.

Lesane was taken back to the Monroe County Jail until his next court appearance on July 29.
