Two hospitals are moving toward joining a regional health system to provide better health care in our area.

United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia and Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic are both expected to join the Rochester Regional Health System by the end of the this year. Both hospitals have approved final agreements.

The Rochester Regional Health System was formed by the merger of Rochester General and Unity Health Systems. Newark-Wayne Hospital is also affiliated with Rochester General Hospital.

This will create a five hospital system, serving patients in multiple counties across our region.
