Webster Police officer recovering after crash

A Webster Police officer is recovering after being involved in crash while on duty.

Investigators say it happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Five Mile Line Road near the ramp to 104. Police say a driver turned in front of the officer's vehicle while trying to make a left turn onto the highway. The officer was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was later released. The other driver was not injured.

Police say that driver will most likely be ticketed.
