A former Wayne Central school bus driver has pleaded guilty to driving drunk with kids on board but she isn’t in jail.

Julynn Criscuolo is now serving a year of interim probation with possible jail time to follow.

Criscuolo was in court Tuesday for sentencing, but the judge deferred sentencing until next year. Criscuolo did plead guilty on Tuesday to the top two counts in a ten count indictment. She admitted to being drunk while driving kids on a school bus last October. Later that day, police say she was in a head-on crash in Macedon that injured a woman.

Criscuolo will return to court in one year. She will then receive a minimum of five more years of probation or a maximum of four and a half years in prison.
