Delta Airlines has announced plans to offer free entertainment options on all its domestic aircraft and some regional jets.
That means all passengers in every class of service on flights longer than 90-minutes will have free access to popular movies, television shows, music and video games.
Passengers will be able to access the service either through their seatback entertainment system or through laptops, tablets and mobile devices.
Additional premium content will be available for purchase in economy including recent film titles, HBO and Showtime programming as well as on-demand TV shows.
The nation's third largest carrier plans to launch the free entertainment service Friday.
