Wayne County boy out of hospital following accident

Created: 08/01/2014 9:39 PM WHEC.com

A Wayne County boy is out of the hospital Friday, after being hurt by a car when it slipped off a jack.

Ten-year-old Thomas Benjamin was injured on Tuesday on Reitz Road in Wolcott. His mother says Thomas was under the car watching his older brother and his friend work on it. That's when the jack buckled and the car fell -- pinning him under it.

His brother and his friend lifted the car off of the boy as his mother pulled him out.
