Bath man killed in two-vehicle crash in Steuben County

A 66-year-old Bath man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in the Town of Greenwood, Steuben County.

State Police say Eugene Williams was southbound on State Route 248 when he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of State Route 417 and was hit by a westbound vehicle.

Investigators say Williams was taken to St. James Hospital in Hornell where he was pronounced dead. Police say he was traveling with his wife and child who were uninjured.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 70-year-old man from Wellsville, was not injured.
