Court case may close doors of local nursing home

Steps taken on Tuesday could close the doors of a Gates nursing home for good.

In court paperwork, a trustee says Westgate Nursing Home is failing to pay back debt after filing for bankruptcy.

The nursing home filed for bankruptcy in November of 2013, but the trustee says nursing home administrations still owe $460,000 in bills.

The trustee wants a judge to force Westgate to be sold or shut down. The case heads to court later this month.
