Free public wireless Internet is now available at four of New York state's most popular state parks.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office says Wednesday that the Wi-Fi service is available at Niagara Falls, Jones Beach, Saratoga Spa and East River state parks.

The program is being supported by the American Park Network and Toyota.

The four parks selected for the service are some of the state's most popular public attractions, with more than 18 million visitors each year. The state says it may consider expanding the free Wi-Fi to other parks in the future.

State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey says wireless Internet access is a part of the state's commitment to modernizing its park system.
