City Council to vote on food trucks in Canandaigua

Created: 08/06/2014 10:02 PM WHEC.com

Will food trucks be allowed to set up on private city property in Canandaigua? That is what members of City Council will vote on Thursday.

The resolution was tabled at a meeting back in July. Since then, some changes have been made.

If the plan is approved, details of the operation, including a site plan, photos and information about the power source would have to be part of any application. A related ordinance to allow food trucks on public property is still being reviewed.

The meeting Thursday night is set for 7:00 p.m. at Canandaigua’s City Hall.
