A fallen New York State trooper was remembered in a plaque dedication ceremony.

A memorial plaque was placed in honor of Trooper Ross Riley. Riley died last year after falling during a training exercise in Letchworth State Park. He was a 17-year veteran of the state police.

The plaque will be placed on the New York State Rappelling Tower on the Erie County Fairgrounds.
