Proposal to allow food trucks in Canandaigua to be voted on

Created: 08/07/2014 7:07 AM WHEC.com

In Canandaigua, will food trucks be allowed to set up on private city property? That's what members of City Council will vote on tonight. This story comes to us from our news partners at Messenger Post.
The food truck resolution was tabled at a meeting in July. Since then, some changes have been. If the plan is approved, details of the operation, including a site plan, photos and information about the power source, would have to be part of any application.

A related ordinance to allow food trucks on public property is still being reviewed.

Tonight's meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Canandaigua City Hall.
