One charge against County Executive Maggie Brooks’ husband dropped

A judge dropped one of two criminal counts against the husband of Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks but a new grand jury could still indict Robert Wiesner on one charge.

Wiesner and three other men are accused of rigging bids for several multi-million dollar public projects and pocketing the extra money.

Wiesner's attorney moved to have both charges dropped saying his client wasn't given a chance to testify in front of a grand jury.
