Ontario County Sheriff Philip Povero believes the investigation into the deadly crash at Canandaigua Motorsports Park will continue for at least two more weeks.

According to deputies, 20-year-old Kevin Ward Junior was killed after a vehicle driven by NASCAR champion Tony Stewart hit him while on the track Saturday night.

Right now, investigators are looking and two videos of the crash -- one from a spectator and the other from the track itself. Povero is still asking anyone with videos of the crash or any experts on racing to contact investigators to help them analyze the videos.

Once the investigation is complete, the sheriff will meet with the Ontario County District Attorney. Povero says once that meeting with the District Attorney takes place, they will hold another update.

Povero says they are taking their time with this to make sure the investigators have the ability to look at all the evidence.
