The maker of popular spices is voluntarily recalling .75-ounce bottles of its ground oregano.
McCormick and Company says containers with an August 21st or August 22nd "best by:" date could possibly be contaminated with salmonella.
The recall affects just more than 1,000 cases ground oregano shipped to 41 states including New York.
Customers can contact McCormick Consumer Affairs at 1-800-632-5847 for a refund or replacement.
