Lydia Ko has played golf in dozens of countries across the globe, risen to become the number two golfer on the LPGA and earned a small fortune in the process and she did all of this as a teenager.

She’s not your average 17 year old. Ko has won four LPGA events, become the youngest ever to win $1-million in prize money and is already ranked as the second best golfer in the world.

Ko would only be a junior in high school back in New Zealand and more amazing than her game is the popularity she’s garnered. She celebrated her seventeenth birthday by winning her first tournament in the U.S.

Last year at this time she was an amateur barely making the cut, this year she’s in the hunt. Ko is poised to make a run at her first major title this weekend.
