An Irondequoit woman is facing charges after sheriff’s deputies say she was driving drunk with a child in the car and then kicked a deputy in the leg during her arrest.

Denise Davis, 42, was arrested on DWI and harassment charges.

Deputies say Davis drove away from a home on Mapleview Drive in Shortsville while drunk with a child under 15-years-old as a passenger. We’re told she then drove back to the house and was arrested.

Investigators say Davis also has a prior DWI conviction.

Davis was taken to the Ontario County Jail and will answer to her charges at a later date.
