Created: 08/19/2014 12:29 PM WHEC.com

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle crash on the New York State Thruway. It happened just before 11 a.m.

We’re told the vehicle left the road for an unknown reason and as it went back onto the road, it rolled over and landed in the right lane of the Thruway.

Henrietta Ambulance Chief Reg Allen says the driver and passenger were taken to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

State Police are working to determine the cause of the crash.

Both lanes of the Thruway were closed while crews worked to clear the road.
