→THE ROCHESTER RED WINGS fell in walkoff fashion Wednesday night as Anthony Gose - who was 0-for-8 in the series with 8 strikeouts - collected the game-winning hit in the 9th sending the Buffalo Bisons to a 5-4 win over the Red Wings at Coca-Cola Field. With wins by Pawtucket and Syracuse, Rochester fell to 6.0 GB in the North and 3.0 GB in the Wild Card with just 12 games remaining in the regular season...The Wings, who went just 1-for-10 with RISP, fell in walkoff fashion for the 6th time this season.
→ALEX MEYER recorded his 4th double digit strikeout performance of the season (2nd against BUF) and the 6th of his career...He also didn’t walk a batter for the 3rd time in his 25 starts this season...Meyer allowed his 10th homer of the season to his former teammate Darin Mastroianni to leadoff the first inning -- just the 2nd run allowed by Meyer in the first inning all season (0.72 ERA).
