Deputies: Holley man lied about witnessing homicide because he was late on a pizza delivery

Created: 08/21/2014 12:09 PM WHEC.com

Investigators say 18-year-old Mason Requa of Holley called 911 saying he witnessed a homicide on West Ridge Road in Clarkson Wednesday night around 9 p.m. but it was a lie.

Deputies claim the teen made up the phony homicide because he was afraid he would be fired from his job at Mark's Pizzeria in Hamlin because he was late making a delivery.

Investigators say he had detailed information about the fake murder and crews searched the area for about four hours before he confessed to the crime.

He's now been charged with falsely reporting an incident.
