Created: 08/21/2014 4:59 PM WHEC.com

Kodak Alaris is discontinuing production of some of its professional film. The company says it’s discontinuing BW400CN film because of declining use and sales.

Kodak says remaining film should still be available for up to six more months depending on demand.

In a statement, the company says it empathizes with the photographers who love this film but given the lack of demand, it's a decision that had to be made.
