Police: Two-vehicle crash sends Canandaigua woman to hospital

Police say a Canandaigua woman was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital following a two-vehicle accident Friday evening.

This story comes to us from our news partners at The Messenger Post. According to police, the crash took place around 5:15 at the intersection of West Avenue and Thad Chapin.

Investigators say the woman was driving her motorcycle east on West Avenue when a pickup truck traveling westbound struck her while turning left onto Thad Chapin.

We're told the motorcyclist suffered a leg injury and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
