There are concerns from neighbors following a deadly motorcycle crash in Livonia.

Emergency crews and sheriff’s deputies were called to East Lake Road near Hartson Point around 4 a.m. Monday. We’re told 52-year-old Steven Curcio of Webster was headed south along the winding rural road when he failed to negotiate a curve. Curcio was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors waking up this morning immediately knew it was an accident when they saw the news crews on the scene and say it’s because of that curve in the road. They tell us there are accidents here far too often. Hollis Gorton said, “I think it’s because of the way this turn kind of sneaks up on ya and they don’t realize that the curve is so severe.”

Investigators say they’re also working to find out where Curcio was coming from and where he was going.
