The owner of a popular Mexican restaurant, damaged by water after a fire, gave us an update on when he expects to re-open.

Salena's Mexican restaurant in Village Gate was damaged after the fire broke out inside an apartment above the restaurant Saturday.

Owner Aaron Metras tells us crews are coming in to begin moisture removal Tuesday. That process will determine how long it takes for the restaurant to reopen. Metras estimates it could take a week and a half to two weeks.

The fire broke out inside a third-floor apartment. We're told a water main burst because of the amount of water firefighters were using on the fire.
