A Brockport man has been sentenced to three to six years behind bars for his role in the death of a young father last November.

Thomas Bennett took a plea deal. He was charged in the death of 24-year-old Noel Vandorn.

Vandorn was a father and family members told us he had just moved back to the area from North Carolina.

Police say the two got into a fight on Clinton Street in the Village of Brockport and Vandorn was stabbed. Back in November, police said the two knew each other and this was not their first altercation.
