Are you up to date on your credit card payments?

The credit reporting agency TransUnion says fewer Americans are falling behind on those payments. It says the number of people with payments at least 90 days overdue fell to just over one-percent in the last three months. That's the lowest level in more than seven years.

The average amount of credit card debt per borrower rose slightly to just over $5,200.

Financial experts say this shows more Americans are feeling financially secure.
