Ninety-four years ago today, the 19th Amendment allowing women the right to vote was adopted.

Susan B. Anthony, who helped make that happen, was born in Rochester. Now, you can experience this historical time period through a new collection of letters at the University of Rochester. They were written to Anthony by Rachel Foster Avery who she deemed her most "cherished young lieutenant."

We're told plans are in the works to put these letters in a digital format in the coming weeks.
