There is new information on a proposal to build a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills.

According to The Buffalo News, consultants for the governor's office have narrowed down the possible locations.

The four recommended sites include at least one in downtown Buffalo and one in West Seneca. The report says other possible sites in western New York, including Niagara Falls and Batavia, did not make sense. The final recommendations are expected after the team gets a new owner.

The Buffalo News say the state's recommendations on a new stadium would be non-binding for that owner.

The Bills host the Lions Thursday in another pre-season game at 7 p.m.
