Woman charged in hit-and-run indicted by Grand Jury

The case is moving forward against a woman charged in a hit and run crash that left a bicyclist seriously hurt.

A grand jury indicted 32-year-old Keara Baker on charges of second-degree assault and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police say Baker hit Mary Moore while Moore was riding a bike on Clifford Avenue near North Goodman Street. Police say Baker drove off after hitting Moore.

Baker's license had been suspended 22 times. We’re told she also admitted to police that she smoked 12 bags of cocaine before the incident.
