Some members of our community were put behind bars for a good cause.

This is the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association "Executive Lock Up" at the Inn on Broadway. The arrestees, who are executives, CEOs and others, are put on the phones to raise their bail money but instead of going to the bailiff, the money goes to the association for several different needs.

Anthony Galucci is the Executive Director of the Western New York MDA. He said, “It provides services, it provides advocacy, it provides help with durable medical equipment and sending kids to camp for a week. There’s a lot of things we do that we don't charge the people we serve.”

Our assistant news director Dave Overacker was a part of the "lock up." We can tell you he has been bailed out.
