It was all about giving back and helping those in need in Irondequoit on Saturday.

Ten-year-old Traci Weinstein was born in Guatemala and says that the people who live there have so little, and she has so much. That’s why Traci organized a shoe drive that’s being held at Irondequoit Town Hall this weekend.

Traci’s goal is to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes. She will then get to go to Guatemala to help distribute them.

“It's important to me because I thought I could have been there still and then my mom adopted me from a really poor country,” Traci said.
