Attorneys say the man involved with multiple hit-and-runs in Canandaigua earlier this week will face felony charges in addition to the misdemeanor charges he is already facing.
This story comes to us from our news partners at Messenger Post Media. William Lantier, 58, is already facing charges for DWI, reckless driving and multiple charges for leaving the scene of an accident. Police say Lantier plowed his SUV through at least nine cars and swerved back and forth across the four lanes on Route 332 on Wednesday morning.
On Friday, the Ontario County District Attorney told Messenger Post that, "There will definitely be further charges — many additional charges, but I can't tell you when they will be lodged."
Lantier's attorney also said she's expecting felony charges for her client.
