Deputies say they arrested Jaime Rossborough about eleven miles from her home in Livonia. They say she was on her way to pick up her six-year-old daughter at a birthday party.
There was no answer at Rossborough's home, just one day after the 32-year-old mother was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and petit larceny. Deputies say they arrested Rossborough at the CVS in Honeoye Commons -- after receiving a complaint of a sick or intoxicated motorist.
According to investigators, witnesses saw Rossborough driving her Nissan Altima into oncoming traffic several times. But that's not all, deputies say prior to her arrest Rossborough stopped at a liquor store and allegedly stole two bottles of whiskey while on her way to pick up her six-year-old daughter.
Livingston County Child Protective Services is now involved. Rossborough was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.
We spoke to some of Rossborough's neighbors who didn't want to go on camera, but they tell me they're not surprised by the allegations. They say they've seen the cops at her house at least three times in the past week.
