Migrant worker dies in farm accident in Orleans Co.

A migrant farm worker is dead following an accident at an Orleans County farm, according to deputies.

News10NBC is told Luis D. Larios-Hernandez died Friday evening when he was pinned between two trucks after one rolled down a hill at Kirby Farms on Densmore Road. Deputies say Larios-Hernandez was employed as a seasonal worker by Root Brothers Farm, but was part of a crew assisting at Kirby.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Strong West Emergency in Brockport where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies say the Monroe County Medical Examiner, U.S. Boarder Patrol and OSHA assisting in the investigation of the accident.
