CVS has made good on its promise to stop selling tobacco products in its stores.

Effective today, the nation's second largest drugstore chain will no longer sell cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Shelves once stocked with tobacco products, now showcase nicotine gum and other products that help people kick the tobacco habit.

Also today, the company announced its changing its name from CVS Caremark to CVS Health.

Despite the name change, the signs on the company's roughly 7,700 stores will remain the same.
